Abstract: |
Effect of steel fiber on the deicer-scaling resistance of concrete is investigated in this paper. Results show that the deicer-scaling resistance of concrete is reduced by the addition of steel fiber, especially for the air-entrained concrete, even the addition of steel fiber significantly enhances the flexural strength of concrete. The reason is that the good air-bubble structure of concrete is damaged due to the addition of steel fiber. |
