The noise spectrum method to treat the random sampling signals by statistical(averag-)(ing) was proposed to measure the oscillating corrosion current of rebar in concrete under sustained loading.The corrosion resistance of steel rebar is obtained from the noise signals after reverse Fourier transform and low-pass filtering.The method is valid for the measurement of corrosion of rebar and overcome the limitation of traditional method of linear polarization in measuring the oscillating corrosion current.
