Abstract:Manual stirring, high speed grind stirring, high speed grind stirring with ultrasonic were used to disperse nanometer SiO2. The influence of cement paste by nanometer SiO2 on different stirring methods was studied.In order to investigate the microstructure and performance of cement based materials, SEM was used to observe the microstructure of paste and the UV vis spectrophotometry was used to study the dispersion degree of nanometer SiO2. The results show that if the dispersion degree of nanometer SiO2 are higher, the flexural strength and compressive strength are much higher obviously, and the structure of C S H is more homogeneous and the density is much denser, for the samples with the two latter stirring methods.
