Abstract:By using a brand new digital testing equipment, the erosion resistance performances of two commonly used base materials, such as cement stabilized granular and cement stabilized soil, were studied. The erosion depth of cement stabilized base materials is closely related to the erosion cyclic number, hydrodynamic pressure as well as the unconfined compressive strength, among which the ratio of hydrodynamic pressure to the unconfined compressive strength is a crucial factor to affect the erosion resistance performances of cement stabilized base materials. However, the research may be used to formulate the procedure of erosion resistance performance testing for base materials.
