Abstract:The techniques including linear polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were utilized to study the corrosion behavior of ordinary and corrosion resistant reinforcing steels in the chloride ion erosion environment, to compare the corrosion resistant abilities of reinforcing steels which have different compositions, to evaluate the synergistic corrosion resistant effects of corrosion resistant reinforcing steels with corrosion inhibitor, of which the main component is N,N dimethylethanolamine. The results indicate that in the chloride ion erosion environment, the corrosion resistant ability of the corrosion resistant reinforcing steel with the addition of Cr is improved to some extent, while the ability of the corrosion resistant reinforcing steel with the addition of Cr, Ni, Cu is improved more. Furthermore, the corrosion resistant abilities of corrosion resistant reinforcing steels and ordinary reinforcing steel can be improved after the addition of the corrosion inhibitor, in which the synergistic corrosion resistant effect of the corrosion resistant reinforcing steel and the inhibitor makes the corrosion rate decrease dramatically.
